I’m a freelance software engineer specialized in distributed systems, performance, and backend engineering. I’m also part of Alembic, where we offer P2P Protocol Architecture design, development, and hardening services.
My main programming languages are Go and Rust, but I also have solid professional experience with Java and Python. I have a really good time working on performance optimizations, distributed systems, and backend engineering; as well as trying out new programming languages and paradigms.
I believe decentralized applications such as Anytype, and federated platforms such as Mastodon are the best way forward. I also believe we sometimes get too comfortable with hardware performance gains and neglect the performance of the software we write.
